Research:      Going by the New Brunswick census records for 1851 and 1861 and the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery records, it would appear that Thomas married his second wife, Jane, sometime between 1854 and 1861.

He married Mary. Born Circa 1812 in Haughyilly County of Armough, Ireland. Died 27 Oct 1854. Buried in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, Charlotte Co., NB, Canada.

She married John MONAGHAN, 17 Feb 1850. Born Circa 1825 in Ireland. Died 7 Apr 1903. Occupation Blacksmith.

Research:       John Monaghan emigrated to Canada circa 1844 .  He traded his original property with an unknown person for his home at Pleasant St., St. Stephen.  The two properties abut each other on parallel streets.  All three of his children were born and raised on the new property.  He owned his own blacksmith shop which was located on Water St., St. Stephen.
