Among the other papers mentioned for the foregoing group are individual listings of taxes due by those in the Upper, Lower and Middle Districts of the Parish of Burton, plus the township of Maugerville. Items apparently taxed in the latter place are listed as: Medow land, Plow land, Pasture land, Horses, Oxen, Cows, 3 year old cattle and Sheep. There are lists for the years 1811 and 1812. | |||||||
