Notes on Birch Ridge graveyard:
In the northwest corner of the graveyard, there are four white crosses, believed to be Lappage children. While we visited, (Thanksgiving Monday, 2004) Archie DeMerchant of the Scotch Colony stopped by. He is the caretaker of the cemetery. There was one new grave, believed to belong to Pat Verney.
