BRICK HOUSE LANDING CHAPTER
Plymouth, NC

Plymouth, North Carolina is a small town on the Roanoke River, and the Albemarle Sound in north eastern North Carolina. In the days before the American Revolution, the area now known as Plymouth, was a port city. A small structure was erected on the waterfront to house ship's stores, and supplies. The structure was broken into many times, and eventually was reconstructed out of brick. The sea captains began to refer to this area as Brick House Landing.
