Reverend Jeremiah Etheridge
I have been trying to tie my 3g grandfather, Rev. Jeremiah Etheridge, b.ca.1780-b/4 1843, to his father. Who, I believe, was Thomas Etheridge Sr. of Camden Co., as shown on the 1790 census.Jeremiah married Sarah/Sally Lurry Forbes abt.1810-13. He and Sally sold a farm in Camden County in 1813 and moved to Currituck and on to Pasquotank by 1825. He was the pastor of the Elizabeth City First Baptist Church while in Pasquotank. This is where his trail grows cold and I can't find his place or time of death.
The following information was copied from the Currituck County website.
