Organization: The Genealogical Society of Davidson County, North Carolina was formally organized on November 10, 1980 at which time the dues were set. The society is a non-profit organization. All memberships include a subscription to the quarterly Journal. All members are requested to file a pedigree chart with the society. The society meets quarterly on the 3rd Monday of January, April, July and October at 7:15 PM at the Robbins Center in Lexington, NC. The Society's fiscal year is January 1 through December 31.

Correspondence: The Genealogy Room, Lexington Library, 602 South Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292 is headquarters of the Genealogical Society of Davidson County. All correspondence concerning genealogical questions should be mailed to the above address or e-mailed to genealogy@co.davidson.nc.us . All inquiries must adhere to the rules and policies of the Davidson County Public Library. If an answer is desired by regular mail, a stamped self-addressed envelope must be included.
