BARBEE HERNDON DURNING

Seeking a death date on Candass BARBEE DURNING-BLALOCK. Candass BARBEE m. Lewis DURNING in Orange County, NC in 1814. They moved to TN and divorced there in 1825. She returned to Orange Co. and m. David S. BLALOCK in 1838. His son, Hartwell BLALOCK was buried in the Blalock Graveyard, Old Herndon Homeplace, Ridge Road, Durham, NC. Can anyone tell me if Candas was buried there also? (Her mother was a HERNDON.) I would like to correspond with anyone working on the BARBEE-DURNING lines.

Seeking record of first marriage of William Gaston BRADSHAW to Helen TOWNSEND between 1881 & 1910, probably in Orange or Durham. Wm G BRADSHAW was a resident of Durham from ca. 1890 until his death in 1937; he's buried at Maplewood. In 1921, he m. Mrs Jennie M LANGLEY, who is not further identified on the marriage license; would like to identify her. Also, seeking correspondence with descendants of Richard Samuel EDWARDS (neph. of W G Bradshaw) who resided in Durham in 1920; reportedly m. Lois WILBANKS.

JOHNSON

Looking for parents of William Addison JOHNSON, born in Orange Co., N.C. on Aug 11, 1818. Fathers name was Charles, came to N.C. from Scotland. Siblings were James Donaldson, Dr. Charles, Thomas G. and Elizabeth Jane. Johnson supposedly attended college at the Univ. of N.C., graduating in June of 1837. This is info that has been handed down and cannot guarantee it's accuracy. W.A. Johnson is my gggrandfather. I have found out a lot about him after 1860 but not much before that time. I would like to find any info possible about this family.
