I have had several emails concerning
this site. I want to give you, the visitors to this site a
little biography. I do not live in Durham County and it is a
good distance from where I live. I have a daytime job that
does not allow me to go to the register of deeds in Durham
because of the hours they are open. The archives in Raleigh
also has about the same hours. To do the necessary research it
takes to put information on the sites that host genealogy
information, would require me to visit these places often. When I can, I assure you I will get Durham
County. I would absolutely love it if
someone, possibly a retired couple, could spend a little
time and go to the register of deeds and libraries in Durham
county and copy information for me to post on this site.
Just please be patient with me and I will try my best to
bring this site up to par so that it will be a good source
of information for Durham County researchers. Any
family histories you'd like posted, please, send it to me
and I will post it.
Any documents that you may have, send copies to me and I
will post them. Help me make this site better. Thank you for
your comments and please keep helping me make the Durham
site one that is user friendly and has
lots of information.
