Regular meetings of the Forsyth County Genealogical Society are normally held in the Auditorium of the Main Library Building at 660 West 5th Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM. However, some special meetings may be held at other venues and/or times.  Please check the listings below. 
Times and dates are subject to change without notice. 

Each regular meeting of the Society includes a program of interest to genealogists and family historians.
Meetings are free and open to the public.

Note - If Forsyth County Schools were closed on the day of a meeting owing to weather,
the Society doesn't meet. There will not normally be a backup date.

October Oct 7- Field Trip to the Childrens' Home. Margo LaFever will conduct a tour of the new Children's Home Museum, Children's Home property at 1001 Reynolda Rd, Winston-Salem, NC, 27104. The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM in the auditorium of the Children's Home museum. This tour is being provided by the Children's Home museum staff, and will be only for the current members of the Forsyth County Genealogy Society. Future meetings will resume our policy of being open to the public.
