National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, 1776 D Street NW, Washington, DC 20006, (202) 628-1776.  The DAR Library section of the National Society web site includes an on-line catalog and the National GRC Index, along with other useful information.  There are four DAR Chapters in Forsyth County: Joseph Kerner Chapter, Kernersville; Battle of Shallow Ford Chapter, Winston-Salem; Colonel Joseph Winston Chapter, Winston-Salem; and Old North State Chapter, Winston-Salem.
