Greene
County Family Researchers
A new family research group has been
formed at the Greene County Museum. This group, Greene County Family
Researchers, will meet the third Thursday of each month
at 7 PM at the Greene County Museum in Snow Hill.
Membership fees
are $20.00 per year for an individual or $25.00 for a family (two
persons per household) one newsletter per family. A membership
form is on the next page which
can be copied and printed.
GCFR will
assist those interested in the genealogy of Greene County families
and Greene County history in general. Our mission is to
locate, preserve and share Greene County documents and family histories,
to preserve and protect Greene County cemeteries and to publish a
Greene County heritage book. Membership in GCFR is open to anyone
who has an interest in genealogy or the county history.
