Membership in GCGS is open to anyone
interested in genealogy or history. Although the focus of GCGS's journal and
publications is
The Society
meets at the First Friends Meeting, 2100 West Friendly Avenue, Greensboro,
North Carolina, at 10:00 a.m. on the third Saturday of the month, January
through May and September through November.
Membership in
the Society entitles you to receive our quarterly journal, The
Annual
memberships are based on a calendar year beginning in January. Back journals
for the membership year will be mailed with the Society’s next bulk mailing to
those who join mid-year. Unless you specify otherwise, memberships received
after September will be applied to the following year.
