Its purposes are to preserve area records, to disseminate genealogical and historical information through books and a bulletin published quarterly. The quarterly magazine, "Footprints in Time", contains historical and genealogical information each year. |

The GLGS bulletin is published by dedicated volunteers Robert Carpenter & Kathy Haynes and they welcome your help . Why not put pen to paper, or fingers to the keyboard, and write an article to help out these hardworking folks. Kathy says your stories and articles may be mailed by the USPS or e-mailed directly to her in MS Word format, or as txt (if it's not too long). |

| MEETINGS |
The society meets quarterly, at either the Gaston or Lincoln Library. Meetings are open to anyone with an interest in genealogy or history. |
| PUBLICATIONS | Members receive a copy of Footprints in Time, the official publication of the Gaston Lincoln Genealogical Society, each March, June, September and December, and are encouraged to submit articles for publication. |
| QUERIES FOR PUBLICATION |
Members may submit unlimited queries each year to be used as space allows, at the discretion of the publication committee, for publication in the society bulletin, Footprints in Time. Queries may be edited. |
