Name:David Barker

Researching: Hege

My name is David Barker. My mother was Betty Jean Hege, daughter of Samuel David Hege, who was son of Edward (Ed Hege). My question is about Ed Hegeís father, Davidson Hege.Does anyone have any information on him?He had a brother named Ephriam Hege (they were from Davie County). I know he was in the battle of Seven Pines during the Civil War but thatís all I have. Also, can you find out what happened to Ed Hegeís brother Charles Hege who died at age 19 and is buried beside Davidson Hege at Shiloh Church.

Name:Kathy  Jackson

I am looking for information on the Hege's. Andrew (Hege) is my 3 great grandfather. He was born around 1815 and married Mary (Polly) Weaver Nov 30,1841.  Had 4 sons. Lewis M., George W. and Alexander (Twins) and last Andrew J Jackson. Andrew had a brother John (Hege) who married Lurena Link and had the following children, Jacob Astor, Alexander J., Lurena, Mary Jane, Elizabeth, and Davidson.

I am in hopes of finding these two brothers parents names.

In the 1870 census Andrew is listed living with Dr. Milton Hobbs in Fulton. In one of his accounts books the Hege's listed is John, Jacob Felta and Andrew. This was 1841 to 1842. In 1870 Mary and children of her and Andrew are listed in Fulton Twp census at a different home. Then in 1880 Andrew is listed with his son Lewis M and his family.

I have been searching about 3 years for their parents names. Any information would be appreciated so very much.
