10th Annual Lamb Family Reunion
2003
The 10th Annual Lamb Family Reunion will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2003, at the Asheville, NC, Recreation Park, on the Swannanoa River Road. The gathering will take place at Shed #2, near the park entrance.
The reunion honors the descendants of Marmaduke Lamb and his wife Orpha Rollins, who relocated from Randolph County, NC, to Greene County, TN in the early 1800's. From there, many of their descendants migrated into Western North Carolina in the years immediately following the American Civil War.
