Ancestor Names
Our Society has been involved in computerizing our members' Ancestor Charts for over six years. We urge ALL members to send us charts of their Haywood County ancestor information, and to update the information periodically. Submitters have an opportunity to proofread their printouts, correct any errors, and to change or add any information they wish. Our Ancestor's Names lists are generated from these charts and include more than 3000 names. You may also search our surname index. Ancestors of our members may have lived out their lives in locations other than Haywood County. However, if you are researching Haywood County ancestors and the list includes names you are researching, send us an inquiry. When you Inquire we will supply the names and addresses of the name's submitters in the hope that when matches are found or suspected, information may be exchanged. We welcome Ancestor Charts submitted in Brother's Keeper, Family Tree Maker, or GedCom format or typed or written in any standard ancestor chart form.
