Please Contribute

You can help preserve our Henderson County and Western North Carolina heritage.  If you have documents, old newspapers, family bibles, marriage records before 1851, letters which have survived more than 100 years, record books or any other documents which would provide historic, social or genealogical data, please consider contributing either an abstract, transcription or scanned image of those records.  We will archive them for future generations.  You never know when a fire or other catastrophic event might destroy the original

Volunteers needed

Surname contacts -  If you are willing to provide information by email for a particular surname, we will list the name and your email address.

Transcription – Typing transcriptions or abstracts of deeds, wills/estates, pensions, bible records, court documents.

Scanning – Provide scanned pictures, maps, documents etc.
