Holt-Long-Teague House

Built for Charles T. Holt, the governor's son, the elaborate home was designed by
G.F. Barber of Tennessee. Charlie died three years later and his bride chose not to
stay. The home was bought by Mr. Long, a banker, and is still in the family.
The home has not been remodeled and retains its Victorian flavor with electrified
gas lamps, original moldings and fixtures and running water.

In 1976, the house was nominated for inclusion in the
National Register of Historic Places.
