Johnston
County, NC Cemeteries
Johnston
County was created in 1746
from Craven County and named in honor of Gabriel Johnston, North
Carolina's royal governor at the time. Johnston County originally
contained most of what is now Wake, Wayne, Greene, and Lenoir counties
and part of Wilson.
Where
is Johnston County?
On
this site you will find the names of all cemeteries in Johnston County.
As of June 10, 2009 I am no longer going to continue this project (photographing new cemeteries). To
request a
photo for a cemetery on this site I have already done, please email me at johnstoncemeteries@yahoo.com.
Please specify which township and cemetery.
Though
I make every effort to be as accurate as possible, please be aware that
there may be errors. If you find any errors please don't
hesitate
to contact me!

**PLEASE
READ** This is not a complete listing of all people buried in
Johnston County! As of June 10, 2009 I am no longer going to
continue this project, but I can still lookup deaths and email pictures
that I have already taken. I suggest
you
email me if you can't find who you are looking for.
I can
lookup deaths through about the 1980s. So please don't
hesitate
to email me any lookups you might have, I am glad to help.
