The new Madison County Public Library in Marshall, NC is a wonderful asset to researchers of Madison County genealogy and history.  It's Mashburn Room is dedicated to and houses the genealogical and history collection of the library.

Library Catalog

In the "Search" box, type in genealogy and then click on search.  This will bring up the catalog of the contents of the genealogy and history collection in the Mashburn room.  You may also search on any surname or place of interest.
