Martin County Court House, Williamston, NC
This Indenture made the thirteenth Day of august in the
year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and four by and betwixt Levy
Cone of the State of North Carolina and the County martin and Lewis Cone
of the County a foresaid. Witness know ye tht Levy Cone of the State and
County afsaid do grant Bargain sell and deliver unto Lewis Cone of the
State and County of Martin my Equal Share or part of Land which was Left
me by my father Wm Cone Decd. for the Sum of twelve pounds ten Shillings
currence of this State aforesaid and I the said Levi Cone do hereby
Warrent and Secure the title of the said Land to be good & clear from me
or any other person or persons whatsoever unto the said Lewis Cone to him
and his heirs Exer. Admr. forever unto his propper use and Behoof as
witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and fixt my seal Signed
