Martin County, NC, Maps

  • Although formed in 1774 from Tyrrell and Halifax counties, the approximation of the county structure in 1740 shows that Martin has land heritage in Bertie and Beaufort counties as well. County line adjustments throughout the subsequent years have transferred land from Edgecombe and Pitt into and out of what we presently call Martin County.
