1^st Annual Hackney–Bishop Reunion  

Saturday, 23 June 2007 2–6 pm

Mark your calendar now to attend this event which promises to be a fun way for us all to reconnect with our families.  Over 150 people are on the mailing list, representing many families related to the Hackney-Bishop clans.

The park in the small town of Pineville , NC, which is located very near I-485 and I-77, has ample parking and walkways that are handicap accessible.

This park has a lake complete with ducks and geese, walking trail, and lots of great playground equipment.

The genealogy table will display Hackney & Bishop research and photos.  A spot for group and individual photos will be set up, as well as rocking chairs and recording devices that will be in use by those wishing to tell “True Family Tales”.  Please consider bringing old photos to be digitally copied, on site, all to be added to the family research.

A large shelter with picnic tables has been rented and the committee will supply paper goods, utensils, hot & cold drinks, and ice.  Fun games for one and all are being planned. 

Now, all you need to do is bring your whole family, enough food and desert to feed them and join us…… for a day of food, family and fun.
