Olde Mecklenburg Genealogical Society meets on the second Wednesday of each month, twelve months a year in the Ray Hall Community Center at Aldersbate, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Each meeting begins with a social at 7 p. m. and is followed by a brief business meeting at 7:30 p. m. The programs usually feature speakers, who discuss genealogical or historical topics. Visitors are always welcome at these informal meetings.

In December, members celebrate the holiday season with a special dinner meeting, which requires advance reservations.
