Stephen Wilkerson Cemetery
Location:
Charlie Carr Road
Directions: West on Leasburg Road (US 158). Left on Rolling Hills Road
(SR 1166) just past Lea's Chapel Methodist Church. Left on Charlie Carr Road (SR 1160). My
recollection is that the cemetery is on the right or south side of Charlie Carr Road in a
field. I believe that the cemetery is on property now owned by Guy Carr. At the time of my
last visit some 15 years ago, most of the stones were no longer standing but were flat on
the ground.
Topographic map. (Note that the road names shown on
the topographic map are not current.)
GPS Coordinates: 36° 22' 04"N, 79° 05' 24"W
(WGS84/NAD83) These coordinates and the location on the topographic map are a best
guess. The cemetery is in this general area but it has been years since I was there.
