RCHGS is a non-profit corporation open to all adults interested in furthering the purposes of the Society.
Resident
members are members who live within Robeson County
and the counties of Bladen, Columbus, Cumberland,
Hoke, and Scotland in North Carolina, and Dillon,
Horry, Marion, and Marlboro in South Carolina.
They have all privileges of membership, including
the right to make motions, vote, hold office, and
to chair and serve on committees.
Family Resident members [two or more persons
of the same family who reside at the same address]
pay annual dues of $25 per household.
Associate
Members
are members who do not live in one of the ten
counties above. They have all privileges of
membership except the right to vote, hold office,
or chair committees. Annual dues are the same as
those of Resident Members.
Life
Members are dues-free individuals who pay a
one-time age-based fee [Members at age 50 and
below pay $500; age 51-65 pay $375; age 66-75 pay
$250; age 76-85 pay $125.] Life members may be
Resident or Associate members.
Annual dues are
due on or before December 31st of each
year.
If dues are not
paid before the Annual Meeting is called to order
in January, the member is declared
not-in-good-standing.
Members whose dues
are not received before March 1st are removed from membership.
