The following books contain useful genealogical information about Surry County. At present there are some questions regarding the extent to which information obtained from these and other books is subject to copyright restrictions if transmitted over the Internet. We have therefore been asked to remove our lists of volunteers who are willing to do lookups in specific books, until this issue can be resolved. Instead, I am trying to compile a list of resources that are available in libraries or through t he LDS. Please help me add additional books to this list.
