Welcome!
Since 1982, the Wake County Genealogical Society (WCGS) has been
aiding genealogists living in or researching in Wake County, North Carolina.
Although we have a large number of members in the Wake County area,
the majority are out of town. Our goal is to facilitate
communications among all Wake County researchers, wherever they may
live.
Please
consider a membership in the WCGS.
Experienced genealogists recommend joining a society where you live,
for educational and support benefits, and another in the place where
you search, for the exchange of research information.
Members
are invited to subscribe to the mailing list for occasional updates regarding the activities of the society.
Send an e-mail to
NCWCGS-L-request@rootsweb.com with just the word subscribe
in the body of the message.
