Since 1982, the Wake County Genealogical Society (WCGS) has been
aiding genealogists living in or researching in Wake County, North Carolina.
Many of our members live in the local area, but we also have members who live
elsewhere. Our goal is to facilitate
communications among all Wake County researchers, wherever they may
consider a membership in the WCGS.
Experienced genealogists recommend joining a society where you live,
for educational and support benefits, and another in the place where
you search, for the exchange of research information.
and nonmembers are invited to subscribe to the WCGS Rootsweb mailing list for occasional updates regarding the activities of the society.
Send an e-mail to
NCWCGS-Lfirstname.lastname@example.org with just the word subscribe
in the body of the message.
We are unable to offer research services.
