Olivia Raney History Library
The collection at this public library is devoted primarily to local and family history and is an invaluable resource for Wake County researchers. An extensive network of materials is available to assist those conducting research into historical and genealogical topics.

North Carolina State Archives
The North Carolina State Archives collects, preserves, and makes available for public use historical and evidential materials relating to North Carolina. Its holdings include official records of state, county, and local governmental units, and also non-governmental records.
