NOTE:
1. I check all queries in the two volume book "Burke
County and White Earth Valley Historical Society" published in 1971 and
1989. Most of the families in this history are in Burke County,
however some Divide County families may be listed. Most of the
families are listed in volume one published in 1971. This book
contains over 1200 pages and is very heavy. Using a scanner to
copy pages is not practical. I have broken two scanners trying to
scan pages. If your family is found I can send you a summary and give
you leads to follow.
This history of Burke County is not longer in print, however it
can be found in many locations :
1. Minot Public Library, Minot, North Dakota
2. North Dakota State Library, Bismarck, North Dakota
3. LDS Library, Salt Lake City, Utah
4. Wayne County Public Library, Genealogy Section, Forth Wayne,
Indiana
