After his marriage, Jesse Wilson was probably living in Sussex Co. Delaware. Several of the census records for Jesse Wilson's children indicate that they and their parents were born in Delaware. Also several histories of the family list Jesse and Lovy as coming from Delaware. Of the two Jesse Wilson listed in the 1810 census for Delaware (both in Sussex Co., neither family match the number and sex of the children that Jesse Wilson should have.
A check of the census for Delaware in 1800 lists only three families by the name of Ray living in the state. All three families are in New Castle Co., Delaware. Both a John, page 169 and a John Ray Sr , page 171, have females listed that would be the correct as Lovy. A James Wilson, page 159, Carson Wilson, page 176 and Stephen Wilson, page 204, had males the would be the correct age as Jesse. No reference to an Isaac Wilson was found.
Jesse moved to Kentucky around 1815 and probably lived in Fayette Co. Kentucky until approximately 1825. Listed in the 1820 census for Fayette Co., Ky on page 74 are Jesse Wilson two Robert Wilsons, one Robert L. Wilson, and a David Wilson all between 26 and 45 years old except for Robert Wilson who is listed as being over 45 with a female over 45 with nine children.. It is believe that Robet Wilson, son of Isaac and his brother Jesse where both living in Fayette Co. Ky around 1820. It is also thought that Isaac was living with his son Robert in Kentucky during this period. Later Jesse moved to Scott Co, Indiana and Robert, with his father, moved near Greensburg, Indiana.
Jesse Wilson moved to Scott Co., Indiana from Fayette Co., Ky. about 1825 and lived in this county until his death on February 15, 1846. His wife Lovy died in 1849. Both are probably buried in Scott Co., Indiana, but the location is unknown.
Jesses Wilson had a will in which he appointed his son Robert White Wilson Executor. He gave land in Sec 22, Twp. 3, Range 7, Scott Co., Indiana to his wife Lovy and after her death the farm to John W. Cornelius his grandson. He gave to his son James H. He sold the first 80 acres to William Coons, his son in law in 1837 (Lovy is listed as Lova,) Book f Page 132 Scott Co., deeds, and the second 80 acres to Robert W. and Daniel Wilson in 1846, (Lovy is listed as Lovy), book J page 138 Scott Co. deeds. The purchase date for these tracts of land by Jesse has not been found. The farm of Jesse Wilson was probably located in Vienna twp a couple of miles from the Rawlings farm in Lexington Twp.
