Currently the only publication dealing specifically with this township is the 2002 Summary of the Pioneer Icelandic Settlers of La Moure Township, which contains brief summaries of many of the families. Considerable additional information has been gathered since that time and a new volume is anticipated in the near future.

As is obvious from the table above, not all the pioneer Icelandic settlers have been identified. For many other families there is minimal information. I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who has any information they wish to share on these or any Icelandic immigrant families or who wishes to participate in project.
