Vang Lutheran Cemetery is well maintained and very well marked. It is located directly across the road from Vang Lutheran Church, about 12 miles east of Manning, ND. It is fenced with a large, clearly visible sign over the gate.

Much was written about Vang Lutheran Church in Dauntless Dunn Volume II - 1989 A History of Dunn County North Dakota pages 85 and 86. “Vang” was the name of the township where many of the area came from in Minnesota.

The Vang congregation was organized in 1908 and the church was later built in 1916. All services were spoken in Norwegian until 1920.

Directions from Manning, ND: Go 1 ½ miles north of Manning, ND on Hwy 22. Go east for 11 miles at 11th Street S. W. Then go south 1 mile on 98th Avenue S. W. Finally head east for just less than 1 mile on 12th Street S. W.
