Darin Neugebauer reports in June of 2004 that the 1900 and 1910 Emmons County Census shows his ancestor's surnames as incorrect. The 1900 Census Transcription shows NEUGEBAM ? and the 1910 Census Transcription shows NEUGIBAUR ? ?. In both cases the original document is difficult to discern. Darin indicates the correct spelling is NEUGEBAUER.
