Bjorn This was a farm post office established July 19, 1880 with Andrew Hallokson Postmaster. It was located in Section 20-152-51, Rye Township, three miles south of Manvel, and closed November 29, 1881 with mail to Grand Forks. "Bjorn" is Norwegian for bear and one of these animals had seen in the area, resulting in the name. BiJorn is an erroneous spelling. |

Little development took place, and the site is now the Grand Forks International Airport. |
