Township 149-79 has glacial terrain. There is a lake plain l9ocated within Aurena. This is a place where the glacial waters stood, no drainage, and in this area a lot of silt and clay is found. The land is hilly with small pot holes. As far as can be determined there were no post offices within this township. East Crooked Lake Lutheran Church is located in Section 32, NW 1/4 and the Seventh Day Adventist Church is located in Section 12. |
