Byersville township is located on the eastern boundary of McLean County. Sheridan County borders it on the east and at one time a large part of Sheridan County was included in McLean County. The area is glacial sediment with glacial outwash. This means there is a lot of rock, sloughs and gravel deposits. To the east can be seen the Profit Mountains. |
