Isaak for sharing his copy of the two autobiographies posted, which do include a photograph of Mr. & Mrs. Solomon Isaak. This couple lived the majority of their life in South Dakota--but they also spent some years in Mercer County, N.D. If I have this man Solomon figured correctly, he would have been a first cousin, once removed, to August Isaak, Sr. The Mercer County Cemetery Index and Location Listing is now in the process of being transcribed. This wonderful history index was compiled by Roxanne R. Salisbury. This includes as many early burials as possible, with the latest burials documented through July 1989. ~The publication was paid for by Germans from Russia Society, under the direction of Vi Schielke.
