Conrad Appledorn

I am seeking information on a family that lived in the
Sherwood area about 1910-1920.  There were four brothers:
John, Harry, Bertes, and Conrad.  John (my g-gf) was a
carpenter and worked in the area.  Harry and Bertes went
to northern Minnesota.  The last brother, Conrad, is
supposed to have established a wheat farm in Saskatchewan.
Nothing more is known about him (such as, did he ever
return to the USA).

Emrick Nelson was probably known as Ingebright Nilsen Knottmoen in Norway.
He married Bergitte (dob 6/2/1864) Trælstad from Goodhue Co., MN.
Her parents were Gjertrud Arntsdatter Fordal and Bortunis Pedersen Trælstad.
Both were born in Norway and died in Minnesota.

I am looking for my greatgrandmother's family She lived on the Turtle Mountain
Reserve and her Roll # was 1287. Her brother's were Joseph, Napoleon, John, Octave,
and Edward (Isadore). Renville county in ND and in Minnesota were named after two
of my great uncles. I want to learn as much about the name and family as I can.

Seeking information on my great-grandfather Alva L. HUTSON, wife Ada.
He purchased 160 acres in McKinney Twsp in 1908, Range 86, Section 10.
Neighboring families were McMullin, Fuguerson, Benson, Paff, and McMaster
according a hand-drawn plat map.  He lived in McKinney according to the 1910
US Census and in Grover Twsp according to the 1920 US Census.  
Looking for land sale info/resources. What did he likely grow/raise
on this acreage?  He had 5 children when living in McKinney.
What were the names of schools, churches and newspapers in this area between 1908-1920?
