Program:

Our very special guest will be Governor General Robert Davis, of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.  His wife, Jeanne, will be attending with him.  He joined the Society of Mayflower Descendants in the state of Delaware in 1977 with Mayflower lineage to John Alden, William Mullins, George Soule and Stephen Hopkins (twice).

In addition to Governor General, Robert Davis, we are going to have Lois Becker on our program.  Lois is coming to us through the SD Humanities Council.  The title of her program is "Life during the American Civil War".  It includes the war's effect on women, a soldier's daily life, the clothing of the times, women who served in the war, and how the war affected the settlement of the Dakotas.  Lois is an independent scholar from Aberdeen.

Advance $10 registration fee (by April 25) includes morning coffee and noon lunch.
