Ralphgroth I have been told that Christian Kregger built a church in Trenton. I have a picture of a large group in front of a building that is under construction which I believe is the church he built. They are listed in the 1920 census of Williams County. They arrived after 1912 and left after 1921. janegroth@yahoo.com. Thank you for posting this for me. 6-19-2009
Donna I
am trying to find information about my great uncle E A Boldt (Earnest A
Boldt) and his wife Mary. The 1930 US Federal Census shows Earnest
and Mary Boldt living in Tioga, Williams County, ND.
He is 43 years old and working as a garage mechanic and Mary
is aged 29 and listed as a public school teacher. I believe they
were married about 1923 in Stanley, ND. The census report states
Mary was born in MN about 1901. Earnest was born in South Dakota
in 1887 and died in Oregon in 1962 and is buried at Williamette National
Cemetery. No one in the family knows anything about Mary except she
died a "mysterious death." I am assuming she died in North Dakota
but need to verify it and am very curious as to the "mysterious death."
Thank you. Donna Bogott

We are trying to find out what happened to Emma. We have very little
info on Otto and Alma's Marriage and just recently learned of Emma's birth.
Thanks, Lisa

John L. Inman Looking
for information on my wife's grandfather, William Storm. Think middle name
is Ray but could be Joseph. He is in 1920 census of Divide County and was
killed in coal mine accident in Williams County in 1924 and according to
Clerk in Williston no death certificate but a record of accident and death
on 10 Dec 1024 with address of Hanks. The two children differ in middle
name. Either Ray or Joseph. William married Eileen Louise Terrilion. Two
children Ray LeRoy and Wanda Delia Storm. Think he came from Germany and
could not speak much English. Stories say his name could have been Stone

place.

Carl, lived in Tioga. He was born 4 March 1868 in Norway. He was a state
senator and also the president of the script "The Williams County Farmers
Press." Carl's descendants don't live there anymore. But I've heard from

He is said to have had two brothers and a sister (names unknown)...one
brother was married and had two children, the sister was married and had
a number of children, she is said to have run a confection store.
This family is said to be German.
Mr. MARTIN was once married to a crippled lady, it is said they
had a child that died, this first wife died before 1912. In the fall
of 1911, Peter F. MARTIN stayed in a boarding house in Williston, ND. This
boarding house was owned by my grandmother, Hulda Fellows.
From a post card sent to Mr. MARTIN, I find he had close friends
in the area...a Mr. Dorr and H.C. Uhlman.
In 1912, Mr. Martin married Hulda Fellows, after the birth of a
daughter, Grace, the family moved to Tekoa, Washington. By 1915 they
were living in Annex, OR. Their second daughter, Geraldine, was born there
in 1916 and Hulda Martin died with in a month.
Can any one help me find the brothers or sister of Peter F. MARTIN??
Are there any MARTIN'S out there with a great uncle by the name
of Peter Fredrick MARTIN??

I am interested in finding any information on two families. The first is
the Phillips family. Marion S. and Lida (Lydia) C.Phillips were long time
residents of Williston. They had a farm in the Williston area and they
also owned their own truck gardening business. He was a member of the masonic
lodge and he might have also belonged to Modern Woodmen of America. They
adopted a child in 1913 and the family lived there until 1926, when they
moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan. Marion and Lida were both born in Indiana.
The second family we are searching for, I am unsure of the exact spelling
of the name. Her name was Jennie Birklow, or Beiklow or some form of that
last name. Would like to know if she knew the Phillips family. Any information
would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much.

TRLund I am looking
for the Nehring family in Williams County. I noticed
that in the book Wonder of Williams: A history of Williams County,
North
Dakota there were some Nehrings in the book. I know my Nehrings
were
in North Dakota for some time, and was wondering if they were related.
I have not read the information in this book, but only saw the names
in the
index.
August Nehring and his wife Wilhelmina Becker came from Pommern,
Germany before 1884 and settled in North Dakota. They had
several children
but do not know all of their names. Edward, born in 1867 was
our great grandfather. He had a sister that married a Zeisemer, and
told they were in Cresbard, South Dakota. Other cousins had the surnames
of Ceilky, Krause,
and Piepke. We think sisters married men with these names.
If you have any
info, please contact me. Thank you.

date of death. It could have been as late as 1932. I have written Vital
Records in Williston, but could not give them a year date, so they may
not be able to find their death certificate. I would appreciate help from
anyone who knows the area. Thanks, Bill Chellberg (Wheaton, Milton Township,

Candice Soine
I am trying to locate burial place, obituaries, and any other information
on Ingeborg Kattevold Soine [widow of John Soine, whom I believe died before
she came to Ray, ND about 1910]. I am in contact with her great grandchildren,
but no one knows anything. I know she died some time after 1920 at
about 90 years of age.
Also attempting to find someone who can check out
the local cemeterie[s] in the Wildrose area. I am looking for anyone
with the last name of Opoien, also Lars & Beret Paulson and John &
Julia Paulson [unknown if the Paulson boys are related].

Kim KingstonI am trying to
find information about Springbrook. I am researching the Kingston's who
lived there in 1903-1910. I would like to know where the Springbrook Cemetery
might have been moved to. Other names that are linked to this family are
Ulrich, Kepford, Urban & Versoi's. If anyone has any information on
family or can tell me anything about Springbrook. I welcome all the e-mail's.
You can e-mail me at KKings6503@aol.com
