Abridged: Kitty ELWOOD was born in Harlan County, Ohio where she resided until 1871 when she moved with her parents to Oakdale, Nebraska  She was united in marriage with Mr M. W. KING, who was appointed to a position in 1885 by the Indian Department at the Pine Ridge Agency. She died leaving a husband, one son and one daughter. Funeral services were held in Oakdale at the Methodist Church on Tuesday afternoon. Rev. SHACKLOCK officiated and the remains were interred in the Oakdale Cemetery.
