Funeral services were held for Virgil Zegers who died at his home in Albion. He attended schools in David City and Elgin. The couple lived at Norfolk when they were first married and then farmed at Elgin and Petersburg before retiring in Albion. He was the supervisor at Harmony Home at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife, children: Beverly, Sharon, Phyllis, Donald, Tim; brothers, Gerald, Joe and Jim; sisters, Margaret and Erma; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Anthony and Gilbert.
