Funeral services were held in Burley on Monday, Jan. 16, with interment at Cloverdale Memorial Park in Boise, Idaho. Mrs. MacKnight was born on June 24, 1911, to William B. and Julia Puntney. She married William F. MacKnight. He died April 16, 1983. She was in the newspaper business most of her life, including working at the Hartington Herald. Survivors include four brothers, Ralph Puntney, Randolph, Floyd Puntney, Magnet, Wendell Puntney, Coleridge, and Raymond Puntney, Hartington; two sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Lucille) Heitman, Laurel and Mrs. Helen Vock, Coleridge; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; and three brothers, Robert, William H. and Edward. Among those attending the funeral services in Burley were Mrs. Raymond Puntney, Mrs. Arnold Heitman, Mrs. Dick Puntney and Mrs. Floyd Puntney. Cedar County News Jan 1984
