I am looking for any information on Peter LINGWALL and
his family.
He was born in 1849 in Sweden. Settled in Illinois, then Eastern
Nebraska and finally came to Western Nebraska. Married Anna
PRINCE
in Columbus, NE on August 1880. Had six children with three
surviving,
Anna, John A., and Peter Olof. who married Julia CAVELLI.
The
older Peter died April 15, 1925. The
obituary states that he was burried in Greenlawn cemetary. Could
that be a typo? The services were held at St. Paul's Evangelical
Lutheran Church. Any help or leads you might provide would be
appreciated.

McEVOY--McEvoy,
Thomas E. (DOB 3-20-35) was a Tavern owner in Sidney Nebr., and was
married
to Annie O'Brien (DOB 11-01-39). Annie McEvoy (DOB 11-26-62) was
an offspring of that marriage. She married John E. Hart (DOB
unknown)
on 9-01-81. He was a Cavalry Sgt. who was stationed at Fort
Sidney
between 1876
and 1881. John Hart died 1-29-06.
Circumstances are clouded regarding Thomas E. McEvoy. He went
by train to Omaha and was waylaid by two strangers who were seen about
Sidney and on the train to Omaha. Annie O'Brien McEvoy died of a
broken heart and the children of that marriage were Annie
(11-26-62);Lizzie
(10-06-64)Eugene (12-18-70) Emma (7-17-72) Charlie (11-17-73) and
Frances
(2-13-76). The children were looked after by Annie McEvoy Hart
after
the death of Annie O'brien.
Emma Dorothy Hart (DOB 9-21-96) was a product of the Annie
McEvoy/John
Hart marriage. She married a Bentley and was divorced before
11-4-26
when she married Ferdenand August Krause on the aforementioned
date.
Any information on Thomas E. McEvoy, Annie O'Brien, Mr. Bentley or John
Hart who died 1-29-06 is appreciated.
