Colfax
County is located in the northeastern corner of Nebraska, with the
southern county border being the Platte River. The population was

county, and its seat, are named after former Vice

Colfax.
Our
hope is that this site will assist you in researching
the history of
the area and your genealogical connection.
I am your County
Administrator, and have been
researching Colfax County for over ten
years and
my family within it. I am not located in Nebraska,
and am
unfortunately unable to assist with on-site research.
If you have anything you are willing to contribute to this
page to further our goal of free genealogy, or would like to volunteer
in any capacity, please email me.
As a
strictly volunteer effort, this site is continually growing.
Please check back often for updates, which I will highlight in the
links below.
Thank you, and
best of luck in your research! ~ Jen Baldwin
