VOLUME 1

 

This work is a compilation of the Pioneer and Old Settlers Association Memorial Reports that appeared nearly every year in the Dakota County Newspapers. However, I have taken the liberty of adding some names to the lists, because of the fact that some spouses or parents were omitted for some unknown reason. I have already added complete death dates where able and / or the place of burial.

 

The work is done in four sections.

            Section 1: Lists by years.

            Section 2: Alphabetical listing of Pioneers & Old Settlers

            Section 3: Death Notices in the “Browsing Through the Star Files”

            Section 4: Copies of newspaper Memorial Reports, Historical Clippings & 

                              1885 Mortality Schedule
