Belmont is located south of Crawford, Nebraska. On the highway south of Crawford turn east at the sign "Belmont Road". Follow this dirt road turning south (right) at the Y, then take the first road going east. This will take you across the railroad bridge. Belmont is to the right, but stay on this dirt road until you see the cemetery on the right side of the road.
Belmont is situated near the north entrance to the old Belmont Tunnel, the only railroad tunnel in Nebraska. The cemetery was moved sometime in the past to its present location east of town and it is on the right (south) side of the road. The burials listed here are current in 2005, however, there is always the chance that a burial was not recorded in the first cemetery.
