Henrietta Marguerita BASTIAN arrived from Flensburg, Germany via Ellis Island about 1907 traveled to Omaha to be with her father's brothers. Henrietta married Samuel ACKERMAN about 1911, he operated a shop in the Flatiron Bldg on St. Mary Ave. Any information about these families would greatly be appreciated.

I am looking for any information on Howard North Harper of Omaha. He is my grandmother, Lelah M. Harper Ellis', youngest brother. He has lived most of his life in Omaha, but was born in Wood River, NE between 1905 and 1910. I have most of the information on my grandmother and her siblings but nothing on Howard. I'm looking for information on my G-G-grandfather Perry LAWSON. He married Elizabeth JOHNSONin Ohio in 1843, they lived in Peoria Illinois until the late 1860's, when they moved to Johnson Co. NE. They appear in Johnson Co. census in 1870 but he does not appear in the 1880 census. She does not appear in the 1910 census. I believe both died in Johnson Co. There children were Martha J.,Emily, George Washington, Joe, Elizabeth, Perry M. Jr., Florance, Mary, Delbert and John. Only John was born in NE. Thought I might find a will or estate that would provide more infromation about this family.

My Gr.grandfather Thomas BULLOCK married Mary CHAMBERS, then Martha Chambers. The 1870 census showed their MOTHER as being from Ireland. I have not established what her maiden name was or if she married THOMAS CHAMBERS in the U.S. Apparently Thomas had brothers Samuel, John, Joseph. I have a paper dated May 17, 1864 saying Thomas Bullock, Coitsville, Ohio was to report for duty in Warren Ohio. My Grandparents (Rosamond Green & Thomas Bullock) were both born in Nebraska. Seeking information on Adolph Albert ALBRECHT and wife Alma H. MEYER (m. abt 1872). According to family history, they lived in North Platte from about 1860 to about 1900. He was a violin maker and had a shop there (again oral history). Children included Carl Emil Albrecht born January 16, 1865 in North Platte, Oscar, Otto, Amr, Hattie, and Olga. State of Nebraska has no birth, marriage, or death records for the time frame. The US Census for 1900 shows Adolph (an artist) and Alma with son Oscar A. (a zither-maker), Otto H. (a shipping clerk); and daughter Olga E. at home in Omaha!! [in a rented home on south 17th]. It is possible they lived in Omaha for most of their Nebraska time, and Carl was simply born during a short stay in North Platte. Any help with location of a violin shop, zither shop, or art gallery? early newspaper articles, or other information would be much appreciated. Joe

I am looking for information on Cyrus BASOR (BEASOR, BASORE)born Sept. 1863 in PA. He married Ella Jane WARNER born in Ohio in March 1863 in 1886. He appears in the Omaha City Directorys of 1889 and 1890 as a Carpenter living on South 29th Street. He is listed in the 1900 census. I have found a William BASORE in Blue Springs, Gage County in the 1880 census with a son named William who would be the same age as Cyrus. Cyrus had three children all born in Omaha including my Grandfather Harry Eugene BEASOR who fathered four chlidren all born in Omaha as well. Any information on Cyrus, exact date of marriage, did he change his name, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
